Principal

Jonathan Bashan, P.E.

Jonathan Bashan, P.E., is the Founder and Principal of BNJ. He is a highly skilled structural and civil engineer dedicated to providing professional services across the residential, commercial, and public sectors. With a rich background in engineering, Jonathan brings a wealth of experience working on diverse structures. His portfolio includes significant contributions to large-scale projects, such as mid-rise residential buildings in New York City, the renovation and restoration of existing structures and the innovative design of specialty structures.

Licensed in NY, NJ, and CT, Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). His commitment to excellence and extensive expertise make him a trusted professional in the field.

Principal

Anthony Fahoury, P.E.

Principal Anthony Fahoury, P.E., is a seasoned professional specializing in structural design with licenses in NJ, NY, CT, VT, CO and CA. Anthony holds a Bachelor of Science in Building Science and a Master's in Structural Engineering from the University of Southern California. His career commenced in earthquake-prone Southern California, where he focused on designing low-rise and residential structures. Returning to the east coast, Anthony gained diverse experience contributing to an array of projects from mid-rise steel structures to mass-timber office space to animatronic amusement park elements, and everything in-between. While possessing expertise in the technical design of various construction materials, Anthony has a particular affinity for wood-framed structures. He possesses hard-earned knowledge of the design and construction processes, having served as the prime consultant overseeing the design for numerous large-scale projects.
